Hi, I'm Al

I'm a certified nurse-midwife practicing at Kaiser Permanente in the Los Angeles area. I see patients at the Pasadena clinic for outpatient care, and I catch babies at the Los Angeles Medical Center Labor & Delivery unit.

I started this blog because people keep asking me questions — at the clinic, in waiting rooms, through Instagram DMs — and I realized I had a lot to say.
